Der amtierende Red-Bull-Weltmeister schlug seinen Teamkollegen Sergio Pérez um mehr als fünf Sekunden und hat nun einen Vorsprung von 14 Punkten. Der dritte Platz ging an den Aston-Martin-Piloten Fernando Alonso, der damit zum vierten Mal in dieser Saison in der Königsklasse landete.
