Im vergangenen Jahr zeigte der erste Chinese in der Formel 1, dass sein Potenzial nicht nur Marketing ist. In den Rennen holte er insgesamt sechs Punkte und war im Qualifying oft schneller als sein erfahrenerer Teamkollege Bottas. In diesem Jahr wird er versuchen, auf den Erfahrungen des letzten Jahres aufzubauen.
