Max Verstappen heeft de Formule 1 Grand Prix van Monaco gewonnen en zijn voorsprong in het kampioenschap verder verstevigd. De Nederlandse coureur scoorde zijn vierde overwinning van het seizoen en bezorgde het Red Bull-team zijn zesde racezege. De tweevoudig wereldkampioen zegevierde met 28 seconden voorsprong op de 40-jarige Spaanse veteraan Fernando Alonso van het Aston Martin-team.De derde plaats ging naar Esteban Ocon van Team Alpine, die pas voor de derde keer in zijn carrière het podium bereikte.
